Compared to most experiments this one would actually be extremely easy to perform reliably. Just have two people in isolated environments, one with some kind of easy-to-remember but hard-to-guess password like 'Paul McCartney likes strawberries', to give to the other via a shared dream. Then at the end of the night you see if the other person can remember any password.

The fact it's so easy to prove shared dreaming and the fact that you'd get $1,000,000 for doing so combined with the fact that nobody has done so makes it very hard for me to believe in the phenomenon.

Get a petition off to James Randi and collect your million dollars. If you can prove shared dreaming exists, you get the cool million. If the 'some people on this site' really are telling the truth, I'm sure they'd like a million US dollars.

The people who can do this are probably uninterested in the million dollars. Why would they need a million dollars??? To be happy?? They have fun and are happy every night that they dream. It's like being psychic and telling everybody "HEY LUK I HAVE PARANORMUL POWERZ!!, I CAN PROVE IT!" Next thing you know your tied down on a lab table getting worked on by government authorities.

Why should anyone want a million dollars if they can manifest ANYTHING and do WHATEVER they want in dreams...their probably having too much fun dream sharing. Money doesn't buy happiness...it only rents it. That means you have to give it back sooner or later..Why do you think rich people have all that money, yet they still end up doing hard drugs.

If you can share dreams, why would you want to prove to someone that you can do it. YOU know it's real, so you enjoy it. That's all that matters..fU*k what somebody else thinks. Subjective experience is your own proof.

James Randi isn't a government official. Being under laboratory conditions doesn't necessitate being abducted by bright lights and having a probe inserted into your rectum.

You might sleep at night but you still have to live in the real world with real people. You still have to go to work, do the same old grind as the rest of us. Wouldn't a million dollars be nice to have, maybe to quit work and enjoy your life doing whatever else you wanted to do? Pigs ass you wouldn't want it.

Sounds like a lot of excuses to me.

I don't know how to share dreams..hell I'm still trying to get one lucid REGULAR dream, I was just saying. I believe them to be possible that's all..and if I could share dreams I wouldn't want to prove them, I would tell people how to do it though ;)
