That happens when you challenge peoples belief system. People ridiculed the guy that thought the earth was round, just because he had an idea that was different from everyone else's. The reason they want to throw insults at me is because i posted something that challenged their view of the world, which is only natural. It's not just because I was wrong, really it just boils down to an emotional thing, if you see where I'm going. It's understandable. I wasn't really intending it to be an insult. I guess you could call it misguided/miscommunicated advice. I was basically saying that when you get so excited about something that you've heard that you repeat it without double checking the available information, sometimes you end up looking silly when you miss something. Thats all. At first glance, the mayan skulls look like extra-terrestrials, but there really is no (respected) theory that they are since we know pretty solidly that they bound their children's heads at a young age to deform them into that shape.

All I was trying to say really, is that this is the kind of slip up that makes people disregard the stuff you talk about; because they remember times when you were obviously way off the mark and then just assume that you usually are, whether you actually are or not.

Point taken. I tried to find out why the skulls were shaped that way, and didn't find anything about head binding or head flattening until this thread. Thanks for clearing that up.

2012 is just an end to a huge cycle of the sun, it is nothing very significant in relation to the cycle itself, I wish I could remember the numbers but it based on a cycle of a 144, 000 years or something..called the Great Sun....it is possible that a huge catastrophe could happen in this year, just like any other year, and it is possible that nothing will happen, I think it is best if people are prepared for anything to happen...I would love to see the psycho manipulation, brainwashing, fear inducing, jihiliyya style, self profit way of Occidental Society that we currently have fall, but I think that would be too much like wishful thinking....we'll see..

Events in history form vague trends, and collectively they become smaller and smaller (but still contain previous versions!), which eventually culminates into a singularity or some sort? But this isn't just a perceptual bias based on our limits to measuring minuscule events centuries, millennia, and eons ago? And it's not a technological singularity? And then an alternate dimension where Jesus didn't exist, and everybody is really great and there's a bunch of science, merges with ours to create a techno-utopia?

But the alternate-dimension's scientists are giving thumbs up to their people and governments (or one world government!), who are all fully aware of and willing to go along with a potentially destructive super-science event? None of the other dimensions want to merge with us, but there's no specific reason why, even if they are completely identical except for the fact that Fatty McFat decided on June 16, 2005 of [insert obscure dimension name] didn't eat a vanilla ice-cream, but had chocolate instead? Also, the scientist guys from Dimension Badass endowed all their secrets to some shroom-worshiping fellow, who is the key to this "Multi-Dimensional Grand Prophecy of Awesome"? Wait, they also gave it to some ancient civilizations so they could leave clues for us in their ruins to decode and re-discover the "MDGPA" through our own psychedelic/paranoid Internet-based research?

Though, in reality this also is the end of our world as we know it, because essentially a black hole is being created and we're falling into it so our subjective time is slowing down to infinity? To the observer, we're getting ripped apart as we enter the portal of doom, but to us time has just slowed down and we have an infinity to do whatever we want? But in reality, we're becoming creators (and co-creators!) of anything we desire to see fit in the universe (I thought we were trapped in a singularity...), so that makes all the bad things that just happened okay?

The timewave zero thing, without the alternate world with no Jesus thing is very interesting. There was no Jesus in this world either, by the way. I love Terence McKenna. I believe he is a shaman and he has seen something coming over the horizon or rather we are approaching it. he calls it "The Transcendental Object at the End of Time"(TOAEOT).
My interpretation is that 2012 we will become lucid. That is when we will realize that we are this TOATEOT. As far as alternate realities go, these are just more dreams as far as I'm concerned. I will have to summon Terence McKenna in my next lucid dream and have a talk with him. Should be fun.
The End of time will be exciting, and no, It doesn't mean the end of the Universe. There are many things going to happen that astronomers aknwoledge as well. Major Solar flares which shall definately supercharge our nerves with some electro magnetic energy. Also should cause some northern lights all over the whole world, which ties in to the Hopi prophecies. Also the Tibetan prophecies also say, winter solstice 2012. Also the Earth's electromagnetic field is frcturing as we speak. Should be in for an intense electro-magnetic storm. Also passing through a major photon belt at that time which should light up matter from the inside, like in a dream there is light even though you are in bed with your eyes closed and the lights off. Matter will be light. Aliens coming, I'm betting. I already communicate to some in my dreams. Anyway, this is why I practice lucid dreaming.

During a solar flare, there's a sudden, explosive increase in the earth's electromagnetic field. These major solar flares are predicted to take place 2012.

What interests me is that the pineal gland ( responsible for dreams, OBE's, and NDE's ) responds in accordance to that of earth's electromagnetic field. If there is a huge jump in the EM field it'll cause the gland to vibrate. The pineal gland vibrates the whole time we're asleep...if you wake up prematurely you may feel a vibration in your head, it's a part of sleep paralysis. I think melatonin induces sleep paralysis.

Now this is the kicker, the "chill down the spine" you get when you hear your favorite song or ( love someone or something? ) is an emotional reaction and is actually an EM-light wave. Some people can "naturally" flex the "muscle in the head" (pineal gland) constantly and the gland will start vibrating. I've experienced this personally, and it IS euphoric.

Some people on this site are already reporting that they have successfully done shared dreaming. This jump in consciousness will be our last step in human evolution...free to do whatever, universal co-creation. Definitely sounds like a heaven-on-earth to me. :thumbup:

There is other evidence that is not from a laboratory. In fact, the pineal gland IS responsible for NDEs, OBEs, etc. In fact it is the DMT in the gland that is responsible for these experiences. The DMT releases in a mother when she gives birth, it releases in the baby when he is born, it releases when you dream, it releases when you die. And for anyone who has done DMT would KNOW beyond a doubt that DMT is responsible for these experiences. He would not need some scientific study to prove this to him. Has anyone here ever tried DMT? If you try DMT you WILL have a near death experience. If it wasn't illegal new age hucksters could make a fortune selling NDEs at workshops in California!
Now , as far as the Solar Flare phenomenon: yes, the last one was in 2001 and yes, things did happen. Everyone in the town I lived in in Oregon saw the Northern lights, which hasn't happened that far south in my lifetime. Also, there were massive power outages and electronic malfunctions, disruptions in wireless communications, etc. And guess what? Scientists say that that was a small insignificant solar storm, but the nest one is going to be HUGE, say scientists.
Now, I don't know about the pineal gland vibrating. I have experienced the vibrations Hard Wired speaks of but I never interpreted it as the pineal gland vibrating but more of a subjective experience. But that doesn't discount that it is a valid phenomenon.

One thing is for sure: 2012 will not be the end of the world, but things will change, maybe slowly and gently, or maybe drastically and dramatically. But life will go on, and mass consciousness will change for the better. My teacher is of the opinion that it will change gently. But I look forward to finding more friends in the fourth dimension with me :)

I don't believe the specific details of both time lines but I do believe there's more than one , and something is gonna happen in respect to that in before 2013 heared something similar in Rahma

What I heared about it is that diferent dimentional planes are going to merge on that day.

As if it can be proven empirically or repeated on demand. As you can see if you read it not all the details were the same. Often in shared dreams I believe that each dreamer is dreaming their own dream of the same reality. Know what I mean? Prove to a blind man that there is light. Imagine a blind skeptic?! LOL! I could use the million dollars but I think that Ed is more deserving, him being a wizard and all. But for some reason I don't think he would be interested. I guess people who know aren't out to prove to anyone but are willing to teach those who are open to it. But a $1,000,000? Hard to turn that down. But skeptics are a pretty stubborn bunch and are good at denying pretty much anything.

As opposed to people without the ability to think critically that will believe just about anything.

How would you prove it? Off the top of my head, I would get two subjects that claim the ability to communicate through dreams. Communication (of any kind) is a transfer of information from one medium or body to another. Therefore, I would then give both of them a piece of random information that they would have to transmit to one another through a dream state in a sleep laboratory. After their lucid dreams were complete, they would then tell me what the other persons information was. If the information is obscure enough (not, what I had for breakfast today - something by far more random), the chances of a lucky guess are effectively reduced to zero.

After X number of tries if you can't repeat the desired effect of dream information transfer, you have failed to prove your case.

Electrically stimulate his visual cortex as the retina of a functional eye would. He will 'see' light patterns in his mind. Blind people dream too. Even someone that has been blind from birth can dream a vivid dream that isn't just a swath of total darkness. Clearly a blind person has an understanding of light for them to dream anything that isn't a black void.

yeah, it's pretty hard though , shared dream or astral projection , and being able to remember and see deep detail is a skill that's hard to develope.

Plus the conditions of the test must be pretty strict.
