Well, seeing as how we're well on our way to becoming a communist-like state, it's no surprise. =) |

Well... you got me. That's fucked up. |

Surrender your flesh. We demand it.
It's already happening, you owe them like a year's economic output or something stupid like that. :l |

i refuse to be held accountable for the money that my government borrowed without my permission |

One thing's for sure: Our current situation with China does not bode well. |

We got to make them happy I suppose, otherwise they might dump the dollar, and send America into bankruptcy. |

Well we are already bankrupt as a country. We just play the money game, to try and fool people into thinking we are not bankrupt. Currently it is impossible to pay off the debt, without massive inflation that will destroy the country. At the moment the government isn't even attempting to fix it, or to cut spending. They have gone completely insane and are actually increasing spending. |
|
The real problem is that we haven't spent enough money. If we don't double the national debt in the next three years, we just aren't trying hard enough. |
|
You are dreaming right now.
The other things people seem to forget is that there is a difference between debt and deficit. Debt is simply money we've borrowed from other countries. Deficit is a negative return that the country is earning from its capital management. We have had surpluses before prior to the Bush Administration, and times before that. But even with all this spending, the commodities that the country owns such as gold and silver are used as collateral for the amount of spending and borrowing that the country is going under. Otherwise, inflation would turn into Zimbabwe and we'd be living in attempted martial law. |

The federal income tax is currently paying the interest on our national debt. That's right. Every last cent of the federal income tax is just enough to pay off the INTEREST on the money we owe. And with 2 wars going on, that's not exactly getting any better |

I was referring to the money that they are borrowing from China, without my permission. But what you said works just as well, as in taxes |

Michael is going to take the gazillion dollars he makes off the movie and give all of it to charity. He is also going to sell his house, all of his cars, his boat, and his other luxuries and give the money from all of that to charity too. He wants just enough money to live comfortably and have some extra spending money. |
