Yes, I have. This happened with me and one of my best friends. Of course, it's because we are so similar. |

Have you ever felt a connection between yourself and another person? I am talking about when you feel comfortable with them and it seems like they have been your friend for your whole life but you have just met them? I do NOT mean, however when EVERYONE feels this way, just you( if everyone feels this way, it could just be that they are a good leader). This has happened on sereral occasions to me, like I will just see someone and I feel like i need to know them. After reading The shared dream journal, i started to think more of this. They describe feeling like they were related in a past life. Do you think that we may feel this in waking life as well? or do you think it is just attraction to their personality? |

Can't say I have. But that doesn't discredit the experience. To be honest, no matter how well you think you know someone or how well you connect with them there is still a huge, gaping, infinite distance between you. There are always things you can never know about someone and things they can never know about you. People really can't understand each other on the deepest of levels. |

I've both felt that connection and explained it as such--a recurring transcarnate connection--but can't say I presently put much stock in it. We are all so much alike, in the froth from which we arise... |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

What you may be experiencing is just a basic rapport with a person. It can be for any number of reasons. Chemistry being one. Literally. Pheromones. They might be attractive to you, and gives you a sense of connection, or a desire to be around that person, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. |
