I've been annoyed for a good few hours that 20% of this community (according to this survery) doesn't use Windows, and yet the DreamJournal is pretty exclusively windows-based (I think; maybe Mac has a version too). On behalf of Linux users, I have to say we don't really want to install the .NET framework for just this program.
So I'm proposing we start a new, completely cross-platform, DreamJournal project, imitating that of Banhurt, but which can be painlessly compiled on any platform. I'm suggesting C++ with SDL as the program code, and collaboration can be done through GitHub.
I have a number of projects and other things on my plate right now, and so I can't even begin to do it on my own; if people are interested in helping out, please post here.
