There are also some other fairly interesting things I've had happen while I was dreaming, although I've never been able to induce a lucid dream I have had them before, albeit rarely. I've noticed there seems to be varying stages of lucidity. There's a full on Lucid dream where you know you're dreaming and in control of yourself, then there are dreams where you know you're dreaming but not in control of your actions, and there's also a point where you're dreaming but something feels weird, the setting of the dream may seem odd, you may notice something that seems off to you, but you don't quite seem to reach the point of realizing you're dreaming.
The other interesting thing I've noticed about lucid dreams is my complete and total lack of inhibitions, I do thing in lucid dreams I'd never do in real life. Rape, rob, pillage, murder, I don't really care, I suppose it's because I know it's a dream and that no one is really getting hurt. Obviously I'd never do this stuff in real life, I just think it's interesting to see the way I act and find a side of myself I don't normally even acknowledge when I'm awake.
