Remembering a dream makes me dizzy.

First of all, i want to say hello to everyone! Im new here, and i want to share this experience..

It's is the second time this happened to me, today and about one month ago.
      Ok , as the topic title says;

I have a flashback in which I remember of a dream I had that night, every detail of it. It lasts for about 3-4 seconds and in that time I can exactly remember what was the dream about. While remembering it, it's so intense that I get dizzy, my stomach feels sick and I become sweaty.
Really horrible experience if you ask me. The dream is not scary but rather confusing. After 3 or 4 seconds the flashback stops, I feel normal again and seem not to remember what was the dream/flashback about, except a few details.

      1. i know the dream is confusing and doesn't make sense
      2. i know the subject of the dream(very blurry)
      3. i know what triggered it

(today's trigger was i was looking at an email i got a few days ago and remembered that it was in my dream)

The first time this happened to me, it was a month ago, and the flashback occurred 5 times that day. Every time it happens it feels like something needs to trigger it, like some memory from the dream.

IT JUST HAPPENED AGAIN AS I WAS WRITING THIS.. so..this is the second time today.
Like i rememberd something about writing in this forum!?!?! i duno...
After each flashback I feel like i just woke up...but not the real feeling of waking up in the morning..

This is so intense, can anyone tell me what it can be and did anyone had a similar experience ?

I've had indescribablt experiences and feelings of dream deja vu. Not as intense as you have, though. I'm no expert. but maybe if you tried specifically remembering the events of the dream it would not bother you Sometimes the dream feelings are ALMOST unrelatable to waking senses. Note that I said almost. No dream is incomprehendable, even if some are senseless, because our minds can obviously andle it on some level at least.

What the flip did I mean with my previous response? Crap, I am re-reading it and it makes no sense to me. I must have been pretty tired. Hmm... Forget it then. Anyway, I may have had somewhat similar experiences, but I am not sure I entirely understand your predicament.

Are you saying that you are periodically slipping into dream-like visions during the day and having flashbacks of your dream? Does it feel like deja-vu? Are you going through phases of vividly remembering then forgetting it again?

      Hii
My names Lauren and im 16 years old.

I have had same experiences but worse.
for the past 3 years I have been have the exact same experiences. They started off like yours but have worsened. Now I remember the dreams for 20-30 seconds( sometimes even a whole minute) and blackout after.
Quite a horrible sight to see.
Do u know of a way to stop this?
