It sounds like a "love-at-first-sight" situation which I don't think is actually love or even practical. Since they're a stranger, the only thing you could possibly "love" about them is their appearance, which is superficial, or a few a character traits you just got acquainted with. Now, I'm just assuming you're only using the word 'love' and not sincerely meaning it. Rather, you're very interested in the girl.
Sibyline is right about the emotions. They come from the mind, and as do dreams, so they go hand-in-hand. A person could experience all kinds of emotions in the dream without even trying. But to get to the point, you simply have to ask your subconscious, or dream guide when you become lucid. It's very insightful to things about yourself. People ask it questions like what is their dream job or their greatest fear? The answers might surprise you. At least you have another motivation to learn lucid dreaming.
Sibyline: my advice goes to you as well. Some people don't believe dreams have precognition, but I've seen accounts outside this site of people learning secrets about others they couldn't have possibly known on their own. Do I believe in it? I'm waiting to experience it myself first. Until then, I'm not discounting it. You could just ask your subconscious or dream guide about this guy. Ask if he's real, or represents something or someone. You could even ask the guy himself. You have nothing to lose from trying, so I say go for it!
