falling in love over and over again

Hey guys (and gals) My name is Jason and i had something bothering me so much i need help from you guys . . . i was not lucid last night (FYI) but for the past month or so I've been seeing this girl my age and stuff and in my dreams she keeps recurring and every night i dream about her we fall in love a different way . . . this morning right before i woke up i met her at McDonald's and as soon as i walked in i looked at the cashier and the girl was in line and she looked at me with those perfect green eyes . . . and it goes on for a bit but then we wrestled and stuff and i think this is weird because i don't think I've ever seen this girl before . . . but she is perfect and i want to know what this means? will i ever meet this girl? will we fall inlove in real life? night before last night i literally woke up crying because i woke up and she was gone . . . am i falling in love with a non existant person?

I've never been a big fan or believer for precognition of any kind, so, my gut instinct for whether you would meet this girl in real life is perhaps with regard to a similarity in physical appearance, but almost assuredly not in terms of personality. Especially since dream characters rarely have anything resembling a three dimensional personality. Are you falling in love with a non existent person? Again, perhaps, but that's not necessarily a bad thing and as long as you don't allow your fantasy to interfere with waking life, there is absolutely no harm whatsoever in continuing to meet her in your dreams. As for what it means, I've never been particularly skilled with dream interpretation, but, maybe you're lonely? I don't believe dreams have any hidden meanings, but I've been wrong before.

Emotions run very high in dreams. It's probably just wish fulfilment, but it feels so real. Can't blame you for wanting it to transfer to real life. Depends on what you believe really. As for me, I have a person like that too, and I don't believe I will ever meet him, so I just enjoy it when I see him in my dreams.

It sounds like a "love-at-first-sight" situation which I don't think is actually love or even practical. Since they're a stranger, the only thing you could possibly "love" about them is their appearance, which is superficial, or a few a character traits you just got acquainted with. Now, I'm just assuming you're only using the word 'love' and not sincerely meaning it. Rather, you're very interested in the girl.

Sibyline is right about the emotions. They come from the mind, and as do dreams, so they go hand-in-hand. A person could experience all kinds of emotions in the dream without even trying. But to get to the point, you simply have to ask your subconscious, or dream guide when you become lucid. It's very insightful to things about yourself. People ask it questions like what is their dream job or their greatest fear? The answers might surprise you. At least you have another motivation to learn lucid dreaming.

Sibyline: my advice goes to you as well. Some people don't believe dreams have precognition, but I've seen accounts outside this site of people learning secrets about others they couldn't have possibly known on their own. Do I believe in it? I'm waiting to experience it myself first. Until then, I'm not discounting it. You could just ask your subconscious or dream guide about this guy. Ask if he's real, or represents something or someone. You could even ask the guy himself. You have nothing to lose from trying, so I say go for it!

I can't speak for Jason, but it isn't necessarily about appearance or even character traits. You know how sometimes in a dream, there are things you just know? Falling in love in a dream can be like that. The dream supplies you with emotions that you don't know the origin of.

I'm not discounting anything either. For instance, I'm working on a few LD projects trying to access hidden memories. My guy doesn't talk, and I wouldn't want to ask him anyway. But I might pursue the dream guide route at some point. I just have other questions much higher on my list right now.

Now I'm too intrigued not to ask. What do you mean by hidden memories? Like things you've forgotten in either dreams or waking life? I know there's some dreams I myself want to relive and try to understand because they were so strange.

Yes, things I have forgotten. Like things I have misplaced or conversations I wish I could remember.
