I wanted to ask this question for some time now: What sensations do you have in dreams? |

My dreams are (like yours,) mostly visual. The only real sounds i can remember comes from people talking. Sounds and visuals are the only sensory inputs i can remember. I once dreamt that i was sitting on a sinking boat inthe north sea, yet the cold water reaching my neck didn't bother me, neither did the sound of the giant motor i was sitting in front of at the time. |

From most prominent and common to least for me would be sight, sound, touch, taste, smell. |

Vision and sound are most prominent in most of my dreams (just as they are in waking life). Next would probably be touch. Taste and smell are less frequent (only appearing when they have some significance) and even then are often very weak and indistinct. Balance and the internal body signal sensations are probably even less common. Pain, cold, and heat virtually never appear with much intensity even when doing things that would involve them. |
