Intense love in dream - woke up without typical anxiety?

Why does one feel intense love in a dream? Does it have something to do with the situation or events?

So last night I had a dream with intense love: I went to a store to wander and explore the people there (lied to my boyfriend saying I was buying ice cream). Usually in dreams when guys have an interest in me, I get intrigued and I pursue them. This time however, I met a guy who had a girlfriend, and there was no sexual attraction with him or vice versa. However, I remember deeply respecting both him and his girlfriend and they felt the same towards me... The guy reminded me of someone I know in real life. In dream I felt like we had all been friends for a long time. Intense love and belonging was felt... I followed them passed cars where I almost got hit, and into a forest. They were up way ahead and kept looking back to make sure I was okay; finally I made it through the trees and into the opening, seeing hills around us and mountains up ahead. Wildflowers. I know this probably sounds boring, but it was the most exhilarating dream I have felt in a very long time. These people seemed to really appreciate me, and I felt intense belonging and friendship.

When I woke up, my anxiety (which I usually have on a daily basis) was gone, and I was left with a refreshing and comforting feeling.

      Any thoughts?
