I live in Canada and as u may know it can snow for half the year here or more depending on where u live.

Out of all my years of dreaming, lucid or non, I can,t ever recall a dream of being in snow. I think its strange since I have had many dreams of every other kind of weather, including typhoons, earthquakes and volcanoe eruptions which I have never experienced in real life.

I dont recall snow being mentioned in any dreams I read here on the forums? is it just me?

share your dreams of snow here please and thank you

Ive had a few snow dreams
( i live in the uk so snow is a rare but awesome sight)
Most of them are in my street outside, everything is completely white and i willl just run out knocking on everyones doors telling them to come see the snow.
I remember one time i had this dream and when i woke up it had actually been snowing! How cool is that !
Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.

yeah that is cool. I was wondering about that. how many dreamers out there have never experienced snow for real but dream about it?

is it cold to the touch..do you feel cold being outside in it?

Hmm...now that you mention it i dont ever remember having a dream in which it was snowing, and/or had snowed. I live in colorado (smack dab in the middle of the usa) and snow is common during the winter time and ive def. had my fair share of "blizzards". ....When i become lucid again ill have to create my scenary with snow in it.....its alwasy so peaceful.

I imagine snow would be difficult to dream of, since it is "shapeless" and lacking in specific details for the mind to create. Have you ever experienced a snowfall, fly-by-night?

Yes I live with snow every year. Not as much as it used to snow in the 70,s and 8o,s but still I can,t count the # of snow stroms and blizzards I have been in. Not to mention all the ice skating and other winter fun.

That is why I asked and want to know about others as well. If I cant recall dreaming of snow with all that real exposure then I want to know if others with no exposure to snow have?

I live with much snow as well, but I can honestly say I NEVER dream of it. As for Lucid Dreams, I'm still working on falling asleep! Sorry I wasn't much help.

I've had a few dreams with snow, even 2 lucids that had snow in them.

In one dream I was walking outside in a winterlandscape. Even saw a salt truck go by. But when I asked myself why I wasn't cold, I realized it was a dream.

Personally I prefer the dreams of tropical islands!

I've been planning a trip to a tropical island by the west border of Africa. But for some reasons I've been postponing it year after year.
And then some years ago I had that strange dream of that island covered completely with snow, with some green locomotives all in a standstill... There was no life there, silence and motionless and I asked myself what I was doing there? Where is the sun, the beaches full of tourists? (as it is countinuos in reality).

I took that dream as a kind of warning : "Now that island is inaccessible to you".
There might be some danger lurking or other inconvenience to fly there..?
Since that dream I haven't had another one concering that island, a kind of "unblocking the warning" dream I might expect.
      I'm tired being sorry.
