Hey, Its Rusty here, recently I broke my alarm clock (about a week ago) and I've head that all humans have an internal clock that is suprisingly precise. So starting about a week ago I've been using self suggestion to wake my self up, the first time I sais to myself * I'm going to wake up at 5 am * and guess what....on the first nght i woke up at 4:41 and have been waking up at 4:41 everynight I've done during the week.....so at first I was wondering why it was 4:41?.....well the watch I've been using for years is about 20 minutes off and that explains it....so I have been waking up at 5 o'clock according to my watch....which I don't where when I go to bed so when I check on the tv it says 4:41....but the point of this thread is that on a day where you don't mind sleeping in a lil (just incase self-suggestion fails for you) try just saying to yourself when you'll wake up...it works every night for me.....well sorry for the lengthy post but I thought this is neat so....yeah...also I dont know if this is the right forum but move if needed please...THANKS!!!

I have a similar situation to yours, in that I used to wake up every day at the same time with an alarm so it kind of sunk in, and now I don't need the alarm.

Here's a topic that started yesterday which you might find interesting:

well thats a good question but due to me still knowing subconsiously I think my brain takes an hour or adds one cause with the recent day light thing or whatever after i changed my clocks I still woke up at 5....so I don't think the time is really hardwired.....just whatever my mind thinks is the current time is what it will go bye....so if for some reason I was out of it and they said the time went back an hour I'm sure I would wake up and hour earlier....or later....I dunno I ain't none goods at arithmatatick.....
