      Dreaming & Bloodpressure

I was wondering wether Bloodpressure affects dreaming? People generally feel very relaxed, drowsy and at peace with a low bloodpressure and generally feel very hyperactive, "pumped up" and agrivated by a high blood pressure. I know a stereotype-punker guy ( believe me he fits the stereotype ) and he has bloodsugar disease. It causes his bloodpressure to generally be rather high all the time and I can see that it really affecfts his mood and behavior.

I wonder what effect different bloodpressures can have on dreams since it can have such an effect on your mood, consciousness and awareness. Does anyone know anything about this? I was thinking of raising my bloodpressure for a couple of hours and sleeping on it. Same for lowering my bloodpressure.
I believe sugar raises the bloodpressure as do stimulants but I'm not absolutely sure. Anyone?

hmm, good question, SKA! I don't know the answer, but I'd also be interested to know if anyone with hypertension experiences any changes in dreaming.

I can't recommend any artificial ways of achieving hypertension, but I know that thinking about all the assinine drivers on the road always suceeds in raising my BP.
