Very Disturbing Nightmare About Being Tickled

When I Was About 6 I Used To Have The Same Reccuring Nightmare Right Up Untill I Was About 8. The Nightmare Would Start As Me Being Alone In A Pitch Black Empty Room. And Then Suddenly A Huge Black And White Cow With Bulging Eyes And His Tounge Hanging Out Of His Mouth Would Pop Up In Front Of Me And Start Laughing At Me Histerically And Panting, Then He Would Grab Me And Start Tickling Me It Really Used To Scare The HELL Out Of Me And When He Finally Decided To Stop Tickling Me He Used To Let Out A Really LOUD MOOOOO Which Would Startle Me And I Would Wake Up Screaming And Shaking. And This Happened Nearly Every Night For About 2 Years. Thinking About These Nightmares Now They Seem Quite Funny But As A Young Child It Used To Be Very Frightening And Sometimes I Used To Try So Hard To Stay Awake Just So That I Wouldnt Have The Nightmare Again. Could Anyone Please Help Me Figure Out What These Nightmares Symbolise. It Would Be Very Appreciated.

I used to have the exact same dreams. Id be getting chased around the house by a greenman who was trying to tickle me then all of a sudden id get stuck upside down standing on my head and i couldnt move.

Well My First Piece Of Advice Is That You Don't Have To Type Like This. Also, that is hilarious. Maybe you have a latent fear of cows. Perhaps. But we need more information. Most interpretations need an idea of what is going on in your life. For example, what is your relationship with your mother.

Yeah it might just be a childhood dream like i had one about santa clause, but he was in a black suit insted of a red one and he would stand at my front door of my living room and just ring his bell. it would get louder and louder and louder and then my dad picked me up ran me into my room and threw me onto my bed. Thats when i woke up. Dunno why i had this dream i loved christmas just maybe sub conciously i hated santa clause, shhh dont tell him i said this or i wont get any presents this year. lol

Sounds to me like it has to do with teasing. Maybe you were teased by family members or people at school. Maybe you were offended but repressed the anger. Or maybe you yourself was the one teasing someone, and this dream resulted from your guilt. Just a theory, don't take it too seriously.

Yeah i was picked on a lot at school, And i have got an older brother who used to taunt me a lot and push me around. maybe thats the reason i had this dream?!

Well at the age i was when i was having the nightmares i was pretty close to my mum. and my whole family, and i have never consiously had a fear of cows. so yeah maybe its a fear of cows deep in my sub consious, that im not aware of in reality. I dont really know it all just seems very strange to me. Ive never understood why it was a cow and why it was tickling me? WEIRD!!!!!!

I had this horrible dream where i was in my underwear and batman was chasing me as a kid this scarred me crapless for a long time i wouldnt even talk about it

You should of ate beef before you went to bed. Then you can show the cow your not afraid . Im just joking. But anyways, I don't know much about reoccouring dreams, since I only had one, and it was when I watched the mummy when I was little and got a horrible nightmare that continued a couple nights later.

I always hated him. GRRRR!! It sounds plausible from the description of the dream that the bullying has caused it, both by your brother, and the bullying from school. Why a cow? well, a cow is a very large and unwieldy animal. Maybe you simply watched at some point a cartoon with a cow bullying some small animal. I can see how a cow could be chosen by your mind to represent the bullying force. It needs to be something bigger than you, that you cannot control or stop. Most people think about cows as rather stupid animals, and also as animals that can be herded, well maybe you knew that the bullying is done by people that are actually stupid, and they are 'herded', or influenced by social pressure, or the social trend, to bully you. I'm sorry for my rather clumsy wording, I haven't eaten anything today yet :p I hope you understand my idea. PS. better not hate your brother! It's better to pity him... He was just acting out of ignorance.

I used to hallucinate as a child and I had that exact dream in the first post apart from it was a man and not a perverted cow. I even woke up screaming in the corner of my room as he did. *I was about 4 and it stopped at about 6* I also had a hallucination were a vortex opened on my ceiling and tiny green men came out as the contents of my room were sucked in as well as my house, ripped out around me until it was just black because everything had been sucked in. This all happened while I has restrained and attacked by the inch tall green men (their aggressive assault with guns felt like very hard tickles).
