      Time Perception

Was wondering what peoples experience off time perception in dreams is. From my experiences of dreaming, in general they only feel like they last minutes. However when i reflect on what i did in the dream i couldn’t have possibly done all that in a few minutes. Don’t know if this could be more to do with the fact my dream recall is not quite up to scratch yet and i have many gaps in my dreams.
One thing that interests me is, and i haven’t really looked into this, is if you can feel like you have spent long periods in a particular dream? I’m talking weeks, or maybe lifetimes!!

I find that I in my dreams I often skip through scenes, Like if I travel somewhere in my dreams
But generally time in dreams move slower than real-life for me.. It's like my dreams have lower fps (frames per second) than real-life has.
But weeks and lifetimes are a little way off, unless you skip the time in between.. like "Five years laters" or somethin'..

But is pretty irregular in real-life too, its hard to tell how much time has gone when you do things..
      Atleast for me..
I sleep so I don't have to feel

As long as we can swim freely in our dreams we won't need that sky anymore

First and only lucid dream: 23 july-07
