Couldn't remember dream..

'Ello. The other morning I woke up and could not remember my dream like I normally do. I usually remember my dream in great detail ie. setting, people, conversations etc. but I woke up and could only remember 1 frame of my dream. Also, I usually have rather good recall (2-3 dream per night) The only thing I can think of that caused this is that I drank a LARGE cup of tea right before bed which I've never done before. Any comments are appreciated

Did you wake up harshly? In order to recall dreams better, you need to slowly wake up, holding every idea. It's from personal experience. Today, I wasn't able to recall any dream because I was late for school. On the other hand, the last saturday, I hadn't any real commitment and I recalled 6 dreams in a row, 1 lucid. But of course, using the cuppa substance could do something, I guess o_o

lol, cuppa substance.. Sorry, by cuppa I mean cup of tea.. But yea, It was on a Sunday so I had the chance to sleep in which may have had something to do with it (ie. longer sleep time means more time between dreams means more trouble remembering them).
