      DC tricking you into non-lucidity?

in my last dream ther was a bus driver that asked me which chicken i wanted while filling a receipt and i asked him why would you need to know that? at this time i thought it was strange and then he said "barbecue" could it be that he was trying to trick me into non lucid dream?

I dunno, it almost sounded like the Bus Driver wanted to have a barbecue with you. Most of the Lucid Dreams I have that involve dream characters, almost never involve them trying to trick me out of lucidity. Its usually the situations I'm presented that do it for me. Like if I go a while without doing anything out of the ordinary, and everything looks and seems perfectly normal for a while, I tend to forget that its just a dream.

If a Dream Character does try to talk you out of lucidity, try to talk them INTO lucidity and convince them that it actually is a dream rather than the other way around.

Oh. Well, if you weren't lucid yet, I don't think they can convince you to stay out of it. I suppose its possible that they can engage you into conversation causing your mind to drift away from the thought of "this might be a dream", but that almost never happens to me... In fact, come to think of it, I almost never talk to Dream Characters in Non-Lucid Dreams, and whenever I do, its only a sentance or 2 before I walk off.

DCs often cause me to wake from lucidity, often by attacking or grabbing me - especially by the wrists.

      In ALL cases.

Except perhaps if you are lucid and you specifically control someone.
