      blind people dreaming

I was thinking if maybe someone became completely blind at a young age (like 3) , but they still have memories and have dreams where they can see... Do you think this makes sense?

They would only have dreams of what they have seen. In this case, they would see only things in dreams that they have seen in their first 3 years of life.

If the person was born blind, they would not be able to see in their dreams but still be able to use the other senses.

I agree with the born blind thing, but not the first thing you said.

Example: I have never seen a five headed zebra, but I could make one appear in my dreams if I wanted. Let's say I went blind now, and someone mentioned a five headed zebra. I know what a zebra looks like, so I could estimate what a five-headed zebra would look like and see it in my dreams.

If someone by the age of 3 has already seen the city, he could take that memory make any city he wants, because he knows what roads, people, buildings and cars look like.

What I think he meant was that you can any see variations of things you've already seen.

But if they have been blind from age 3, will they know that they are seeing?

Yes that is what I meant. If you have never seen or known(for example) what a castle is, then how would you visualize it?

I think its possible that a blind person could see things while dreaming, but they would probably be nothing close to what you would see in real life.

If you've felt the material of a castle (like a castle wall), and/or felt a model of it, you could probably visualize it (someone could tell you the color if you learned colors by the age of 3)

You got me there. Although it probably would be impaired.

A blind person dream about what they know and live in their life when they are awake.
Just like those who ain't blind, we can feel, taste, hear and so on in our dreams.
Same thing with a blind, just that they don't see things in their dreams if they have been blind all their life.
