      Dream Realism? The other kind.

Hey people! Just thought I'd ask this question but I'm really in need of it being answered. I've asked this in the past on the forum but I don't think I worded it correctly, so everyone ignored it. No matter! I will try explaining again.

      Right, here goes:

I wouldn't necesserely say it's a problem, but how do I make my dreams more life like or simple? Like for example, I want my dreams to be a bit more like "I went to a shop and bought some milk", not "I went to that place and dug a hole in the time that brung me forward in the dream five minutes while the voice said I was in the factor of nill". Ok, the second sentence was very complicated indeed. But, think of that as an actual dream, and then imagine it being cut into sections and played in reverse, even more confusing? Then I'll summarize it.

Basically, is there a way for me to train my mind how to dream of simple things that are easy to put in a Dream Journal? A nice, flowing dream about a simple life.

Why would you want to do that? I am the guy who dreams of normal situations. They are boring and make for boring dreams. I wish I normally dreamt of crazy stuff.

Why would you want to dream of normality?

Dreams are the result of a combination of memories, thoughts and feelings, and daily residue. I would say that your only hope to influence your dreams is by becoming lucid.

I have seen discussions about dream incubation, though I'm not familiar with the techniques and success rate. More than likely, you are stuck with the non lucid dreams that you have.
