If you wake up before the alarm at all any time, you could write the dream(s) down then. |

So, classes started again a couple weeks ago, and unfortunately, I have 3 days a week when I'm up much earlier than I would ideally like to be. Over the summer, I had been able to just wake up naturally without my alarm, but I find that my alarm is severely impacting my dream recall. I find that once I hear the noise, all these thoughts connected to the alarm ("What time is it? What do I have this morning? Am I late? Whats for breakfast?" etc.) flood my mind and push out the night's dreams. In short, the alarm brings me into the waking world much too quickly and recall has become difficult. Does anyone have any suggestions on combating the accursed early morning beeps and sudden shock of the Waking Life? Thanks for reading |

Go to bed earlier. It may help you with mornings. |

Apachama: Noun. Slimey things made of dust.
"Everything is beautiful"
I hate that. I accidentally left my alarm on a few days ago, and it was screaming in my ears to wake up. The moment I did, I completely forgot all of my dreams. I didn't even have one image of a dream. It all was erased out of my mind . |
