      Reverse Psychology (Understanding The Mind)

I was sitting at my computer no more then two minutes ago thinking... Everyone can relate to this...

Imagine, Your fully awake, going about your day, and something happens..it doesn't matter what it could be, but just something that makes you say " I have to be dreaming" or "This has to be a dream..."

Now take all the times you are asleep, dreaming, and you just think logically, that your awake........

Why is it that when we are fully awake, and fully aware, do we question sometimes "Is this a dream...?" but when we are fully sound asleep dreaming.... we accept it as being awake?

      All explanations welcome!

I think it's simply that much more of your brain is actually functioning when you're really awake. When you're awake, you're more conscious, more aware (duh), and more likely to have thoughts like that.
