Same dream for a long long time

Hi all hope this is the place to post and hope someone can help Is it just a over-active immagtion or does it mean something ? ill try describe it as best i can. Well it verys from between a couple of versions but the main one is. Ive died went to hell and made a bargain with the devil to come back to earth and watch and be his general lackie. Any how ive been trainned for years fighting demons and things in hell inheriting their powers. Once i get back to earth the devil has lied and everythings different the whole place is post - appocalpic (sp). I come to my hometown and find a massive fortress with all my friends and family hiding to surive. This fortress is like a old castle but no windows or anything and goes to a point at the top like church sort of type. I am then fighting to keep these people alive against hordes of evil things some times they are detailed sometimes they are just shadows but i always seem to look the same. (completely different to what i look like now) long hair jeans no top and a sword. The dream jumps back to the place with all the people are and they are watching me on a cinema like screen everytime i go out to fight. Sometimes in the dream im fighting for them but refuse to have contact i just stand out side of the place and fight constantly. Hope this doesnt sound like alot crap but this is what ive dreamed most nights for aslong as i can remember. Is there any meaning to it ? Thanks axcite

How old are you and when did the dreams start? Is it recent or have you had it since being very young? If it's new, have you been playing video games, watching movies or reading books with that sort of theme? If it's been going on for some time, maybe you saw something or heard something of that nature which stuck in your subconscience. On the other hand- do you feel isolated from your friends and family? Have you been under a lot of stress or feel "unworthy" in any way? Perhaps you're carrying guilt over something? Are you having a spiritual crisis? Or, perhaps you simply want more excitement in your life I sometimes have recurring dreams of a certain street. I thought for many years about it, then one night, I had a dream about visiting a cousin in Atlanta and I was about 5 years old. When I woke up I realized that the dream was actually a memory. I was so impressed by the lights and roads of the big city that it stuck with me. Just do a lot of thinking. You'll probably find out the reason behind your dream. But sometimes, a dream is just a dream and it means nothing of any significance.
