      Dream recall

People that don't pay too much attention to dreams might forget about them as soon as they wake up or remember faintly and not care, my question is, keeping dream journals and try to remember them for long periods of time affects, in any way, our memory that it will improve it, like an exercise to train our brain in that area?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean?

Write it down, and try to remember all of it throughout the day?
      Or
Don't write it down, and try to remember all of it throughout the day?
      Bollocks.

Well writing in down cause it's more detailed and makes your recall more accurate and vivid in a way, and i mean for long periods of time, years, and if it improves our memory in general

      Oooh!

Yes, I don't see how it would hurt your waking life memory.
