Spoiler for Excerpt from my dream journal 4/18/09:

I had a dream where i met George Washington and had a conversation with him! Unfortunately it wasnt lucid, but what he said to me makes me want to go read about Edmund Burke. I didnt know anything about this man before last night, except for maybe i have heard his name a few times. Wikipedia says this about him:

Edmund Burke (12 January 1729[1] – 9 July 1797) was an Irish statesman, author, orator, political theorist, and philosopher who, after relocating to England, served for many years in the British House of Commons as a member of the Whig party. He is mainly remembered for his opposition to the French Revolution. It led to his becoming the leading figure within the conservative faction of the Whig party, which he dubbed the "Old Whigs", in opposition to the pro-French-Revolution "New Whigs" led by Charles James Fox. He is generally viewed as the philosophical founder of modern conservatism.[2]
I think my subconscious was telling me to read up on this guy, although i am not sure i will fully agree with him since he opposed the French Revolution according to wikipedia. I will look for some of his writings to read.

That was awesome!
