      newbie.. weird false awakening

Hi All, This is my very first post here. I am really brand-spanking new to all this.. however I feel like I have been lucid dreaming-lite for awhile now. Definitely have vivid dreams. Definitely have great dream recall. Feel comfortable waking myself up out of dreams if I'm scared/anxious/bored. Feel OK doing things in my dream because, "it's just a dream".

Last night I had a weird experience tho. I was dreaming: expansive mountains and valleys, waterfalls, climbed to the top, decided I wanted out.

This is what was really weird for me: I thought I woke up and was in my bedroom with my husband, everything looked right, started to touch my husband, someone opened the bedroom door.. thought it was one of my two young children.

Instead it was a medical doctor with a writing pad, gliding, not walking at all! around the bed. I felt like I was a research patient. Like my dreaming was being studied. Woke up scared screaming help me, help me, help me!
Today I was feeling almost invaded.

      What do you think?
      TIA!!!

Could you move, or was it just a regular dream? Sounds like, if you couldn't move, that you were experiencing a sensed presence hallucination due to sleep paralysis. If it was a straight up dream... just a freaky FA.

Neat that you're a natural, though

It is absolutely normal when you try go back in reallness by your own wish. Simply you should understand and be ready for this.

If will happened something wrong it is only because you can't control LD.

Thanks for your reply Shift. I didn't know about sensed presences during sleep paralysis. I believe that is what I experienced. I read up on it a bit, interesting stuff!
