When I do an RC I check for any text in the room because I know when I look at it a second time it will change to some unknown language or something. But does this ALWAYS happen? Because in my dream the other day I googled how to do magic and I actually remember reading the google page. Unless I only thought I was reading it... But does it always change or can it just not change sometimes?

No, text doesn't always change. Yesterday I had a dream that I was reading some science book, and it didn't change. Although, there were some really strange things in it, like: "BLaWAWAHJSAaaaa," said the lizard.

For the text to change you have to reread it. If you were only reading something without rereading you wouldn't notice that it changed.

For me the answer is yes.

Once I failed RC because the text didn't change for me when I watched at it few seconds later.

In my dreams text is usually quite stable and understandable. That is why, for me, RC from reading isn't very reliable also if I see clock in my dreams, the numbers don't act strange.

Well the text has changed for me before but last night I had a dream and it's kind of hard to explain what happened. I was at an airport going about my normal dream activities (non-lucid) and then it was like someone signed onto MSN. Like you know the little pop up that appears when ever someone comes online? Well it happened a few times throughout the dream and the text did not change. But I wasn't watching a screen or anything it just showed up in the corner of my vision in real life. (Well technically dream life)
