I'm sure it's happened to everyone. You get a song stuck in your head, sometimes for days on end. I know it happens to me frequently, but the one that I'm wondering about today only gets stuck in my head after I've had a dream in which I KNOW that I'm dreaming. As I said in an earlier post, most of my dreams are not lucid, but some of them I know that I'm dreaming, I just have no control over the events...the only thing that those dreams ever have in common is that when I wake up from that type of dream, I always have Sarah McLachlan's cover of the Beatles song "Blackbird" stuck in my head. I've only seen I Am Sam once, when it first came out years ago, I do not own the soundtrack, and to my knowledge, I have never heard that song again...except when I wake up from a dream in which I knew that I was dreaming. Does anyone else have a similar experience? What could it mean? Is there a connection between that song and my lucid dreams? I'd like to know what people think.
