Has anybody of you ever tried to find their power animal trough a lucid dream?
I shall quote wikipedia:
Power animal, is a broadly animistic and shamanic concept that has entered the English language from Anthropology, Ethnography and Sociology. A tutelary spirit guides, helps or protects individuals, lineages and nations. In the shamanic worldview, everything is alive, bearing an inherent virtue, power and wisdom. Our power animal(s) represent our connection to all life, our qualities of character, our power.
I think it's an interesting concept, but somehow i always forget to ask about it in my dreams :D
A friend of mine told me he found out about his friends power animal while he was on a trip with Mary Jane, but I don't do drugs and therefore lucid dreaming the portal to my mind. So, I'll add it to my list of tasks tonight so I can post some more tomorrow ^^
