I feel like I've wasted soooo many chances...

As a kid I used to have nightmares every once in awhile (as most every child does) and every time I had a nightmare, I always realized I was dreaming. At that time though, I had no knowledge of lucid dreaming and I didn't know that you could manipulate your own dreams if you realized you were dreaming

The funny thing is that every time I had a nightmare and became lucid, the only thing I would ever do is pray to God to get me out of the nightmare xD

Nowadays, I haven't had a fully lucid dream in years...I wish I hadn't wasted all those opportunities as a child.

I feel exactly the same, i used to have these same dreams and panic like mad. I never get them any more.

Heh, I used to wake myself up from nightmares every once and awhile when i was a kid. I never have nightmares anymore because when i do i almost always relize it because all of them are about somebody out to get me...

That exact same thing happenes to me. I knew I was dreaming in every single nightmare when I was kid. I still do. I'd just wake myself up. I almost never have nightmares now, but once I did when I knew about LDing and everything, and instead of doing something I just woke myself up. I was so pissed, haha.
