Dreams changing with significant other
Something peculiar, not really bad, but strange happened to me. After I met my gf...a lot of my stress just melted away. Instead of having clear, complex dreams I began having simple, lighthearted dreams with little plot. It's as if I was completely relaxed when dreaming. I actually lost dream recall for a few days, before having to conciously regain it with some effort.
I was wondering if there was any specific explantion, because that would be interesting, or any other similar stories.

Dreams use the information you have for the day. Since you have gotten a girlfriend your life is less stressed and less chaotic information has gotten through to your brain. Your life seems to be in order so you have calming dreams. If you want to create more adventurous dreams you should check dream control.
