      Talking LDing in College

Hey guys, I wanted to ask if anyone here is currently in college or has been in college while learning how to lucid dream. I start college in 6 days () and I still want to continue practicing lucid dreaming. However, I am worried that with all the stress and barrage of work to do that I will be too preoccupied to correctly practice awareness and get enough sleep. Also, I don't want to go around campus doing the nose RC looking like a total freak lol. But also, a big part of awareness is doing new things, meeting new people and keeping things fresh in life. So do you think college will help or hinder learning to regularly lucid dream?

Honestly I don't think it should affect it either way. If you're one of those people that lets school stress them out and you can't stop thinking about it I guess it would probably hinder your process, but if you stay relaxed about it I don't see how it would affect it at all. I'm a college student who lucid dreams regularly, btw.

I'm in my senior year of college and i can say that it has affected my lding, but only at certain times of the school year. When there is not a ton of homework, tests, exams or projects, my lding works out just fine. But i notice that my lding declines when the work load gets extreme. By extreme, i mean that i'm worrying about getting things done on time. The best thing i can say is just don't stress too much over stuff and even more important is don't procrastinate. You can avoid alot of stress if you don't wait until the last minute to start working on stuff. Trust me, if you can learn to avoid creating unnecessary stress, your lding would be alot better for it.

To bad this most of the time rest in the hands of your team-members (going to my 3rd year of college now). Luckily for me experience has shown me that it will always work out in the end.

And for me being a college student it never affected it in any great way.

I know exactly what you mean. I've had team members for a project that were less than helpful or at least were big procrastinators (like i have any room to talk). And I agree, somehow everything seems to work out in the end.
