The seed of lucid dreaming?

While talking to my dad about my lucid dreaming, he came up with this from a diary he kept of me when I was a child. I was 4 at the time. A nightmare (NOT related to cats) you told me about: --You had a nightmare, about what? --About a monster. [maaanster] --A monster? --Yep. --What was he dressed like? --Like a monster! --(I laugh) --A monster dressed up like a monster. --Well, but monsters might be able to dress up different ways. --Yeah, but it was a monster. --Wow. --In a castle. --In a castle? --Yep. --Oh, boy. --He wasn't dressed up in anything. He was just a...monster. --Uh-huh, was he trying scare you? --He was going to eat me. --Oh, yeah? --Yeah. --And were you able to stop and talk with him and ask him why he was trying, trying to eat you? (Jimmy also talking) --Yep? --What did he say? --Who? --Boo? (I understood "Boo"). --Yeah. --That's all he said? --What, who, who do you, do you say that, that what, "what did, did he say."? --Oh, what did the monster say when you asked him why he was trying to eat you? --I, I didn't ask him. --Oh, you've gotta try and ask him, Jimmy, and tell him "You shouldn't try and eat me. Why are you trying to eat me? Now, let's sit down and talk." You try and, you try and convince him he shouldn't eat you. And I'll bet he'll listen. --But it was just a nightmare, Dad. --Oh, well, even in your nightmare you can try and sit down and try and talk with the monster. Yeah. Oh, boy, Jimmy. Oh, well, it was just a nightmare, right? --Yep.
