Had a cool dream. It was the end of the world again.

I was sitting outside with a few other people in my family. We already appearently heard about a huge astroid that was going it hit. We were watching the area it was supposed to hit. Somewhere to the east michigan. It was a little south too. My guess is new york. Anyways, while we sat waiting for a min right by a smaller one landed. Only about 5 feet by 5 feet. Was green too. Well, they started landing everywhere. We all ran towards the house as more of those green firey balls landed all around us. Some were only a few feet away. They would hit the ground then harden. We went in the basement and waited for the big one to hit. It is something else to watch a flaming large object go flying over your head very fast. Much better than tv.

I have had other dreams too where I would just sit and watch the end come without fear.

I had the same dream once, only it was going to hit our house. I woke up before I even saw the asteriod, but it was going to hit in five minutes. I think I managed to drag one person from the house.

I also have dreams involving asteroids/shooting stars and the end of "the world"

At times, I have tried controlling the flight paths of the asteroids and even "lassoed" them in towards myself. In other words, I mentally pull them towards me so that they will hit me and "bathe" me with fire. For some reason any sort of extreme heat (fire, stars, coals, etc. ) seem to feel very cleansing to me -It's as if the heat refines me like you would gold or silver... Sounds weird, but If you ever have dreams about stars or flaming asteroids, etc., try flying toward it or into it and see what happens. As far as the apocalypse goes, it usually seems more like a sense of urgency to me rather than me actually "witnessing the end." -I feel and extreme sense of fear for friends and family like I need to warn them that they need to get right with God and make amends with anyone that they haven't yet because death is near.

Oh by the way, I don\'t mean being "burnt alive" ----lumpy --- it\'s more like my "dream self" is made of some sort of living metal or stone and the fire somehow burns the dross away and purifies...

I've had a number of apocalyptic tidal wave dreams in the past. The sort that push back clouds. I remember one where i was on this cliff in some kind of open bunker and i saw this wall of water form in the horizon and come rushing up. I usually wake up just as it hits me.

Quite the opposite of being burnt alive i suppose. I often find myself imagining such things when at the coast on holidays. Perhaps Its some innate fear of water or something? I do remember one dream where i was in australia (visited last year) and i was desparately avoiding going home because of the 11 hour stretch of flying over the indian ocean - damn its so big! It was on my mind constantly at the time when we were heading to Perth.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Its not often you get that in forums these days. I was lucky in my visit in that accomodation was free for most of it, i only had to pay in Perth as a week later i flew over to the other side and stayed with my sister. Wouldn't have been affordable otherwise!

I've never had a dream about the world ending, but all these experiences sound so fun and interesting. My Lucid dreams are usually boring, but my regular dreams are great, I love them. Last night I had a dream of me + my fellow students going on a roller coaster while riding on a bus!!! , that was fun.

Evangel-Next time Im lucid, Ill try that. Im not that experienced to control my dream on a galactic scale yet

Well, I have had some where I felt myself dying. I usually wake up shortly after death though.

I had a dream of an Astroid hitting my State about 5 years ago. Well the impact was about 50 miles away. And everything turned Red when it impacted then the ground started to rise up and I woke up before it got to me I was standing there in shock like a dummy! go figure.
