How do you end a dry spell?

I've been practicing lucid dreaming for about seven months now and I've gotten pretty good at it. Usually I will have one or two lucid dreams a week and remember at least two or three story type dreams a night.

For the past month or so I've been having a tough time with recall and this hinders my ability to go lucid as often.

I think I might just not be reality checking during the day enough, but I wonder if any of you have had this problem, and what did you do to end it?

I think I might have a idea on how to fix it. I notice that I have a better recall if I pay attention to the dream I am having, and sometimes if I just go along with the dream and don't really care what is happening I tend to forget in the morning what my dream was about. So my idea is that you try and pay attention to everything that is going on in the day (for example what the wind sounds like, the tone of someones voice, try and read as much stuff you can see during the day...), cause I know I do that a lot and I tend to have a pretty good recall. So give it a try and maybe if you develop the habbit of doing that in the day you will also do that in your dream.
