      best way to ld

Can weighing tell me what the absolute best way to have a lucid dream is? I want the best one after weighing the pros and cons, I.E. sleep loss, and just the best pros.

Well this is just in my opinion but...

      WILD (Wake induced lucid dream.)

Pros: Better chance of getting into a lucid dream
      Cons: Sleep loss.

DILD Can't remember what it stands for but you basically catch yourself dreaming while dreaming.

      Pros: No sleep loss.
Cons: You probably wont have as many lucid dreams (Unless you work on it for a couple of weeks.)
If you work on DILD's you can have them ever day without having any sleep loss.

So that is just what I think.

      I think it's DEILD

PROS: Very little sleep loss, high success rate, chain dreams together, more logical dreams
CONS: Requires going through SP (if your scared of that sorta thing)

I'd say DILDs for me but it depends on the person. If you do RCs constantly throughout the day and use mantras before falling asleep theres a good chance you'll have one.

Pros:no loss of sleep, most natural way

cons:not always reliable, not as long

I do a combination of DILD's and WILD's. I can actually induce a WILD in my first REM cycle without any technology at my aid. I do it all myself. It helps get it in my head that I want to remember my dreams and have a lucid dream.

and DILD's is the main thing I do. takes forever =[

I agree with SystemsLock, DEILD's are the best but they usually only happen coming off of a DILD (Dream induced lucid dream) because personally I always move upon waking up (knowing you are waking up can keep you still). And as far as SP goes, it's really only scary the first time I thought because it was a new experience but afterward it's not too much of a con.

I suggest first time you have an LD, try to get to talk to your subconscience, or "Dream Guide" as some like to call it.
Ask him to give you LDs more often, with this I had 5 LDs in one night. (GO ME.)
      Improve Dream Recall (X)
Have an LD (X) Fly (X)
      Teleport (X) Make a Portal ( )
Turn Into an Eagle ( ) Summon A Rabbit (X)
Yell out 'I AM DREAMING' in an LD (X) Win the Lottery in an LD (X) Make the Sun Hit the Earth in an LD (X)

      LILD?

My LDing record, if you want to hear about it, is about 4 WILDs, 1 DEILD, and the rest DILDs.
