Thread: Almost lucid?

I almost gave up hope, but then the other night I had a really close to Lucid dream!

I was talking to my sister and mentioned how we should both do a RC as it coud mean we where dreaming. I did the finger through palm one and my finger went through my palm so i thought ''wait, that doesn't normally happen! This means I must be dreaming! That means I am lucid!!!'' Then I thought about how weird it felt, it was kind of frightening to have my finger going through my palm? Then I tried it again and it still went through... but weirdly I was more pre-occupied with the fact that having my finger going through my palm was a weird sensation and I forgot all about the fact that this meant I was dreaming and could become lucid!

Then I don't remember anything after that :/

Am I on the right tracks? How do I stop myself thinking about other things or getting frightend about being lucid?

Don't worry, it happens to everyone sometimes. Practically, your incredibly stupid and have no proper logic in your dreams, unless you really learn to control it.
