visualization

can someone explain how visulation, or guided imagary, works? I have heard that when something is visualized vividly, the subconcious mind cant tell if it's real or not so eventually, it will make all the nessecery steps to allow whatever was visualized to come true. I also heard that the brain sends alpha waves to the atmosphere in another demension, and it will instantly take place.

lol. I dont know about all the alpha waves and that but. Visualization is very key to being sucessful at doing anything. I use to use it when i raced motocross. Before my race started i would lay on my back and go over the track from start to finish corner by corner jump by jump in my mind. I would walk the track ride the track and visualize the track. Visualizing and imagining are very similar.
