I bet you got that from Inception. I don't know if this is possible, but you can get a bunch of false awakenings even if you don't sleep in your dreams.

Anything is possible in dream if you can imagine it. Although if you are seeking the time compression thing from Inception, I think everyone here would agree that isn't true in the physiological sense that the movie suggests it is. Dream time tends to match waking time.

On the other hand, if what you want is to be able to change the dream scene to a different place, then there are some well-known techniques for that like spinning, summoning portals, and walking through doors or mirrors. Dreaming of falling asleep could work, but closing your eyes tends to make the dream unstable.
I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.

Its probably not possible in the sense of how inception portrayed it. But maybe you can pretend to hook a machine up to you and close your eyes and be somewhere else. And just imagine your in a dream within a dream. But I think closing your eyes could wake you up. But like raetin said, you could have multiple false awakenings if that happened. I'm sure it has happened to many people.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

Blind people still dream every night without a sense of sight. It's not like a deaf person wouldn't dream, what makes you think a blind person couldn't? Can't be too dependent on one sense...

Closing your eyes will only make the dream unstable if you think it will. Get an anchor, like movement, or tactile sensations. Movement would work best if your going to teleport. Like a jump. I've always just kind of focused on where I wanted to get to. Focus is all you need.
