First lucid dream: body very heavy, hard to open eyes

      Hey everyone,

I just started with lucid dreaming today and thought i'd give it a go in the afternoon. So I did, with the WILD technique.

It went pretty well I guess. At first I thought I just woke up, so went back to laying still. Then I felt myself spinning really fast on the bad it was insane. I wasn't sure if I was just doing it or dreaming, but I guessed dreaming. After a while I managed to stand up and open my eyes a bit. I was still in my bed. I felt with one foot on the floor and felt my backpack. At that point I was sure I was dreaming, because I simply knew I didn't put it there earlyer today. I saw a girl sitting in the corner of my room (pretty hot), but then for some reason I went back to spinning, maybe because I feared that I was waking up. When I stopped spinning I managed to get up again and I fell from my bed on the floor. I sat up on the floor. I saw 2 Asian guys sitting in my house and started laughing on the inside, like 'HAHA oh my god this is awesome, im totally dreaming why else would they be here WOOOOHOOOO'. Then I fell sideways to the floor and woke up.

But during this dream, my body felt extremely heavy. It was also really hard to keep my eyes open. I had the feeling that if I would use even more power to keep my eyes open, that I would wake up.

Has anyone else had this? Why does it happen? How do I get stronger in my dream, or at least have the energy to walk around?

My first two lucids were like that. They were very short, and it took a HUGE amount of energy to keep my eyes barely open and turn my head to the side.

I never experienced the whole spinning thing though, and all of my lucids have come from DEILDS.

But seriously, two Asian guys sitting in you room XD? That made me laugh.

Same thing happened to me the other morning, but I didn't even have enough energy to get out of my bed or even really open my eyes. I opened them enough to realize I was dreaming, but that was it.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.
