      2 questions

OK, this is my first day posting on this forum- I do have my intro in the newbie area, so if you're curious yo ucan see it there.

      On to my questions.

      1) For those that have read my intro, you know that I am trying to learn about what seperates an LD from other, seemingly similar experiences. In particular, I would like to better understand the difference between a WILD and an OOBE/Astral projection. It seems to me that a WILD (from what I have read about them) is very similar to an OOBE. For those who have experienced both, can you explain to me what differentiates the 2 experiences for you? I have read many of the posts here, and many MANY of the articles on lucidity.com, so I am not as ignorant as you may think a n00b would be and I feel I have a good understanding of the common factors, so please go ahead and answer freely, dont worry about confusing me Any input here is appreciated!

      2) This question is being posed as someone who is simply curious about LDs, and has never had one. Not a high-level one, anyway. Needless to say, the prospect of having control of a dream is more than intriguing, and I am wondering what is it that is your primary motivation in having them? And, when you do, how realistic is it? I see from numerous posts here that the motivations and the realism varies greatly from person to person, but I am very curious to hear individual responses on this.

      I look forward to it.

I have only experienced two WILD's and they were on accident. When I do try to have one it never works. All I can say is that WILD's and OOBE's are very hard to do. I'd recommend DEILD.

My primary motivation to having lucid dreams is because of this site. I love this site. All of the tutorials and posts and threads. It's just awesome. Also I like to do it because not very many people do. It makes me feel special. And LD's can seem more real than real life sometimes. Most of the time for me it is. Personally.
