      Lucid dreaming, Life, and question.

This is for anyone who wants to learn more about Lucid Dreaming, and connecting dreams to everyday life.

The book Lucid Dreaming by: Stephen LeBerge, has some interesting facts about how lucid dreaming came into play, and how to teach yourself about learning to lucid dream. One simple excercise, is when you go to bed you count in your head "one, i'm dreaming, two, i'm dreaming" you continue until 48 and on... by this point you will be dreaming. It is a way to stay concious of yourself and you'll be more apt to realize your dreaming and you then can take you dreaming to wherever you desire remember your dreaming so do anything you want , fly, jump.... anything.

Another book I recomend is The Way of the Peaceful warrior, by Dan Millman. If you are reaching to find yourself here's a good book to get you started. You'll learn more about yourself, and life itself. It is about a young man who who journeys way beyond his mind, and find the true meaning of life.

Just thought someone might be interested in these books.

I also have to ask... does anyone know what it means when you dream that you have like 6 extras of one of your body parts growing off of you???? Or can anyone refer me to a website??

Stephen LeBerge is somewhat of a hero on this board. A good book for anybody. I haven't heard of the other, though...I think I'll check the library next time I'm there.

Anyway, I don't think there's anything unusual about having extra body parts in a dream, so I wouldn't ascribe it to anything you'd need to worry about. Makes one heck of a good dream sign, though!

Yeah, but the book has a lot of info not available online. And it's all condensed, indexed and portable. You can't take your computer camping with you and still look up information on lucid dreaming (Well, without blowing a ton of cash on a laptop and a satellite phone or something similar)
