      Meditation pain-anyone else?

I was trying a new teckneque today, meditation using the heartbeat, and realized that I could create pain in my legs.
After that first this morning I can repeat it without meditation. My mucles don't move or twitch until the pain is great. It feels almost like when your leg is asleep and you try to walk.
      Can anyone else experence this/ideas?

When i *trip* when meditating, or go on a trip...to put it in other words; sometimes i feel a small amout of pain through twitches, or spasms.

i do not know that much about pain through meditating. Say! im sure Lucius could comment on this, he knows alot about meditating.

I have quite a high pain threshold, (kind of picked it up in my childhood, from all the dangerous, painful games me and my friends would play), but i wouldnt really want to induce physical pain on myself.
the only time i've ever thought about physical pain, was when i have been through extreem emotional pain, i dont cut myself or anything, but like punching a wall and breaking a finger...yeah, that dulls the emotional pain for a while.

I dont want to talk to you anymore, im afraid of what i say. *Every time you come around i bite my tongue, cause blood in my mouth beats blood on the ground[/b]

its fun! but the first time it happened during meditation, at first it scarred me a small amout, but it was completely exciting!

i can make a feeling in my legs... its kinda hard to explain. its like a warm comfortable feeling. i dont know what it is, or how i do it. i think somehow i just know how to release some pleasure chemical in my legs or something. i can also kinda do it in my arms. i would like to learn how to do it all over my body, because basically all it is a nice comfortable feeling. i want to look it up or research it or something, but i dont know what its called or how to describe it or anything,
All I know is that i don't know nothing.

i can make myself feel all sorts of things...pain, temperature changes, motiony feelings...sometimes i wonder if its all in my head, or if maybe some of its real....hmm...well i suppose since feelings are just the way your brain interprets signals sent to it, it should be possible to train your brain to create these signals...meh

I was just wondering, everyone is saying all about 'making themselves do all this stuff' from pain to joy or whatever...
but isn't meditation the absence of thought completely?

just wonderin if there is a word for this 'type' of meditation, cause this happens to me too, and as i said above...just wonderin!

I need a map of your head, translated into English so I can learn to not make you frown.
You’d feel better if you’d vent, put your frustrations into four letter words and let them out on mine, the most weathered ears in town.

the feeling thing i was talking about isnt during meditation. i can just sit there and do it... its like moving your arm or something. i dont have to concentrate or focus on doing it or anything, i can just do it.
All I know is that i don't know nothing.

Today, everything was fine. Until roundabout, quarter to nine, I suddenly found myself in a bind. Was it something I said? Something I read an manifested that’s getting you down.[/b]
