Thread: Confused about Lucid Dreaming.

Hello! I joined the community a while back, but i haven't posted anything because i didn't feel i had anything to say.

But now i do! so far i had two lucid dreams (after a month of discovering LD)

****If you don't want to read this great wall of text, you can skip to the 4rth paragraph****

My first lucid dream was in march 11th. It was a very short one, i had realized my left hand only had three fingers and i immediately knew it was a dream and i had control over it. First thing i did was to test if it was a dream; so i telepathically lifted a barrel in front of me by pointing my hand towards to the barrel, and i actually lifted it! but the barrel exploded in my face for some reason and i woke up. ; (

Luckily i had my second Lucid Dream today march 19th. Like the first one i have no idea how i got to the place i was in, and what i was doing there. Than i looked at my hands, again my left hand had abnormal amount of fingers, but this time it was over 6 fingers! Than i immediately started breathing really calmly so i wouldn't wake up or blow something up. What i did next is kind of a blur still but i remember turning my dream into a dark place with the moon shining and reflecting on a lake. And i remember i was surrounded by trees in a forest. So this time to test if it was a dream and confirm it i made some sort of flame tornado on top of the lake, and to do this i remember moving my hands around in a circular motion(Sorry if i'm not clear english is not my first language ; D). Anyways right after that flame tornado i knew i was dreaming because i couldn't do something as awesome as that in real life.

The next thing i decided to do was to create a house(I don't know why) In an instant a house popped out in front of me while i was walking towards it. OR i wondered into a house(but i know i wanted to create a house) Than i walked into the house it was amazing, it felt like the most real part of my lucid dream. House had a shiny wooden floor & it was really clean!! Next i decided to go up to my room, and there i found a friend of mine, just standing there. I know him in real life and we usually hang out together.

Now here is the part where it gets really weird. I clearly remember ordering him to disappear, and yeah i repeated the exact words "Disappear" to him(I think the reason i wanted him gone was so i could have sex with some girl in my bedroom LOL).anyways, he wouldn't go... and i remember him talking back to me and acting like a real douche bag. I clearly remember him talking in a douchy tone and saying " Oh yaaaaaaaaah, you would like to see me gone wouldn't you?" & "Hooooooow great would it be for you, if i were gone riiight?". These are not EXACT words but something similar. I was extremely frustrated and couldn't focus and next thing i know someone in my goddamn family is yelling at me for over sleeping( Its march break so What The Hell?)

And so i wasn't in that dream anymore but in a really dark place, and i remember trying to get back to where i was with no success. Than i got up kinda disappointed again.

Now my question is why did my close friend appeared in my dream and wouldn't leave me alone? I thought having a lucid dream meant i had absolute control of what happens around me. I would HATE it if he appeared in my dream again and acted like a douche bag and not leave.

If you have any idea why i experienced this please help me out ; )

And i apologize in advance for the extremely boring dream, i don't know what i was thinking. And i am really sorry for this massive wall of text, i really wanted to be clear.

*Edit I forgot to mention something. I look at my hands because i was told that that's a way you determine if your dreaming or not. So i had been doing reality checks by looking at my hands once a week or whenever i remembered to.

And also i never kept any sort of journal, i guess when i discovered about lucid dreams i started having them.

You don't have complete control and you almost never will, everyone has something go wrong.
Control and lucidity are not synonoms.
