      Creepy dreams

Whats the most scariest thing you have ever dreamt of?

For me its probably when i dreamed that a psycho got in my house at night and just sat there and looked at me(pretty f*cked up) i felt like a wreck for like a week after that dream.

When ever i have a nightmare(i havent had one in quite a while) ive always felt sort of "shaky" for like the rest of the day.
      How do you feel afterwards?

I generally do not have traditional nightmares in which people or things are after me. My nightmares that leave me shaken up the most are the ones where I find that I have done something totally irrational. Some examples:

I once cut off my hand so that I could have a prosthetic attached. It was a perfectly good hand.
I once performed brain surgery on my son. He didn't need it and there was nothing wrong with him. It left him severly retarded.
I once dented in the skull of a 12 year old boy with a hammer. I thought he was dead. You can imagine the relief when He woke up

Don't think I am a total psycho, these three dreams were over an 18 month period. My dreams are usually full of fun and adventure.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I usually have only nightmares, I don't normally have nice dreams like most people. Not sure why. I can't point my worst dream, but I had one where I was in a birthing center, the kind where woman give birth in large tubs of water. There were mid wives/doctors around and the mother in the tub giving birth. I was walking around kind of translucent and no on could see me. The mother than gave birth to a girl (the scene was screaming and usually birthing taking place). But the baby was born almost sill born and the doctors rushed it on a table and began working on it to save it. The mother was hysterical. The doctors finally stabilized the baby and althought the baby was still on the table being monitored, they assured the mother she would be allright. Soon after that I felt somethign awful in the room makeing me sick. I then bacame aware that there was another presence in the room, another ghost so to speak. I looked at her and she was circleing the room. She had messy dark hair and clothes and looked up at me. She was holding a large bloody kitchen knife or something. I felt she was evil/bad whatever. Then I knew what happened. She was the baby. (her soul/essence) She wasn't suppose to survive the birth, but because of our technology and the skilled doctors she did, and she was here. It was a bad feeling all the way.

One other time I drempt I woke up in room walled with mirriors sitting on a stool with huge medal pins sticking out all over my legs. I freaked out and pulled them all out, bloody and all I started to try to escape. But I couldn't walk well and there was some body keeping me there.

Another time I drempt that I bought a house and it was haunted by two sisters who the younger one was crazy made a tape of her self cutting chunks out of her shoulder when she was 'bad" and hid it under the tiles in the bathroom floor.

      Anyway, you get the point.

Yea I have nightmares similar to that Seeker. My nightmares usually consist of me hurting or killing another person or people. These are all non lucid mind you. The worst one I think I ever had would be when I killed my brother in a dream. It was very brutal and it had me feeling uneasy for a week or so. It was when I was younger so I don't remember all of the details but I didn't like the dream one bit.

The scariest dream I had was in 7th (6th?) grade and there was the obligatory psycho that was one by one killing all my best friends, I was 'magically' transported to all these places to watch the executions. I should add that the psycho only came out in the light. So, it was either complete terror in the dark, or death. The last one was the most vivid. Two of my (as my stepdad would put it) ladyfriends were in my house in the kitchen, there is a small hallway, and then the living room, where I was. It was at night and I felt the presence of the crazy bastard. I tried to tell them after I turned out the lights, but it was too late. I saw the shadow of the knife rise. There was a horrible pause and a bloodcurdling scream that would shrivel the devil. The knife fell to its recipient with a sloshing sound followed by a splash of liquid. He cut through her skull and opened her brain. The other girl was backed into a corner (this I could directly see) the man came up and I watched him slaughter her. There was another random girl in the room with me. I figured he had gone and then I saw him, the girl fell over me and his knife went through both our heads.

Everyone sounds crazy after talking about nightmares.
Heres something to cheer you up now.

Recently I had a non-lucid dream where I was brought to an unholy temple of some sort. The temple "priest" was a satanic "man" that made me undergo some sort of torture device. The wierd thing about it was that he was right beside me in this two person device loving every second. I remember feeling mild pain as razor sharp steel cut through my flesh. Thinking back I must have been somewhat lucid because I knew I could not die from the experience and that I just had to endure it.

That is how the my "scary" dreams are too.
I was really mad at a friend and I got way too out of hand and killed him. His family, my other friends, and everyone at school were so dissapointed in me. I felt horrible because I would have to live with that for the rest of my life.

Those dreams are such a relief to wake-up from.

      And those are hell awful.

I'm sure that everyone here has the one in which you are in a public place, and your clothes disappear, or you realize that you forgot to wear clothes. lol, I hate those.

      Scary Dreams

The scariest dream I had was about some one I love. They kept on ignoring me, and wouldn't even look in my eye no matter what I did and Tried to avoid me at all costs. I know thats not scary to you probably but at this point this girl was ignoring me and it was really scary to me at least.

my nightmares tend to be of my just saying 'yes' to everything and getting into a million obligations which I have no possible way of fulfilling, and most of which are unpleasant (either boring, or tedious, or immoral - my doormat nature is being taken advantage of basically). Everywhere I go people want me to do more things. This goes on and on. I might even attempt some of the tasks.

I tend to gradually wake up with the horrible sick, guilty feeling which gradually fades to relief as I realise it was a dream. But sometimes they're so realistic that I have nagging doubts throughout the day or longer.

Actually, I kinda enjoy those. It's one of those things you can't get away with in real life, and when I'm naked in my dreams, nobody else really seems to care.

I haven't really had many dreams that scared me since I was a kid. Seems that after I had my first LD and was able to escape the monster chasing me by waking up, it took away my fear in dreams.

I dreamt a creepy dream this afternoon..

It was about a sect that drugged me and my mates when we were sleeping outside in sleeping bags.. creepy shit I tell you. You couldn't scream for help or hit them, I felt so damn helpless and the lady (the one who drugged us) just tried to calm us down.
      hey

      I met Death

Ok, take someone's hand, because I'm about to tell you about my scariest dream ever. I had it about a year and a half ago.

It started with a false awakening from a nightmare where my body was covered with bursting raspberryshaped blisters. Anyhow, I woke up from the dream(or so I thought) and sat up in bed. I looked at my watch (a digital clockradio with red digits) and it was 6 something in the morning. Then I looked the other way, out my window, and saw nothing special, just a typical dark, snowy, swedish winter morning. But when I moved my gaze a bit further to the right i saw a terrible stormcloud gathering. I looked even more to the right, and now I got the shock of my life.

There he stood, Death. He was nearly ten foot tall, wore robes with a hood and held a huge scythe. Of course instead of a face, he had a skull, and it looked like he was made out of glowing white mist. He looked straight at me and let out a terrible hollow laugh. I got so frightened that it nearly hurt in my chest and belly, and I quickly threw myself back in my bed. Then a very bright light shone through my window, and I thought, "So this is what dying is like..."

But I didn't want to die, so I tried to move or scream, but I couldn't. Then I must have thought that I might be dreaming, because I tried to wake myself up by lifting my hand to my bedlight switch to turn it on. My arm felt really heavy but i finally felt the switch between my fingers. I pressed, and thought the light would wake me up, but nothing happened. I tried a few times more, still nothing. Then I suddenly woke up, for real this time. My hand was still clinging to the lightswitch, and i tried turning it on again, and i turned out the lamp was working, it was just a bit (don't know the word in english, when you have to move it around a bit to make it work )

After I woken up, I laughed, because it was such a great experience, i've never been so frightened in my whole life. I couldn't wait to tell everyone. I stayed home that day though, just in case... What was speial about the dream was how realistic it felt, by far more realistic than all my other dreams so far, even my one and only LD since I joined dreamviews.
around 10 proper LD's since joining
yeah, I'm not a natural... but starting to get a hang of it now.

My scariest nightmare so far was this:

I was in the computer room, and my younger sister and I got into a fight over who should use the computer. (This much had happened the day prior.) So we're in a fight, and I BIT OFF MY SISTER'S THUMB. It was WEIRD. It crumbled in my mouth like ash -- kind of like Sauron's fingers in the Lord of the Rings movie. So I spit it out into my hand, which closed around it in a loose fist. When I woke up, my hand was still in that position, and it still felt like I was holding something. So I slowly opened my hand, but there was nothing.

I felt SO bad! I appologized about ten times to my real sister (without telling her why, because my parents thought -- and rightly -- that it might upset her), and to her DC the next night.
It is important that we do not judge these few unbiased moments of our lives, but take them as they are. There is no nightmare for the lucid dreamer, nor no shadows on the mind.
