Day 6: I remembered my dream when the cold outside air hit me. I am curled up, the cold wind wips around me, all I want is a jacket or a blanket. Ice seems to hang from my nose.
And sorry mirror that has to really suck.
No problem sandman, I was happy to be honest, I could just recall few useless fragments last week so 5 vivid nightmares in a row? I'm riding high man :D
Hahaha Tonight I get to try WBTB cuz i can't during the week. So i'm hoping for some positive results.

I had a LD last week I woke up at 11am (I went to bed at 5am) so I wake up and I RC with the nose thing, no result... then I just closed my eyes and I can't even tell how time passed it was inmediately I was on SP ( I can tell because as a child I got a s!"#t load of this) I relaxed and soon enough I was in my room with my brother so I was like WTF I was just paralyzed... so I RC again and "Voala!" It was a dream, but one of my eyes was closed I couldn't get it open, I tried to hard to get it open and then I was awake :C
Alright. I am taking break on this weekend. Maybe I will get nice DILD.

When I do WBTB MILD should I feel SP and enter a dream like I do when I perform WILD?
Day 4! WOW I must be having some sort of recall dry spell... I got nothing today, not even fragments. Any tips guys?

Day 7. A week from when i started trying and i had two LD's last night! First one was i was in Army boot camp going through training. This was very realistic, i could feel the sweat dripping down my face as I jumped over barrels and climbed the rope wall. I knew i was dreaming but i loved the dream so why change it? The next one (im a halo nerd) I was going through a covenant ship with elites jumping out of cryo chambers at me with energy swords. I kicked some ass! I loved the dream again so why change it? My WBTB worked :) 2 DILD accomplished in one night.
Congrats Sandman! Sorry to intrude but this thread intrigued me. I managed to get 3 LDs this morning, the first two was like a never ending chain of false awakenings so only the last one I would deem as a success. Overall I managed to recall 5 dreams from last night, I'll post them all in my DJ soon enough. Good Luck everyone and I hope you don't mind me joining in.

0 LD 0 dream recall. I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a truck. I think it might depend on my quality of sleep, that these days for some reason wants to be like sh*t :)

Perple, of course there's no problem for you to join. The more people the better I think. Since you had a great success with LD last night could you and Sandman briefly describe how you felt before going to sleep and how much rested you felt when you woke up? Apart from MILD I'm trying to find out to what degree INTENTION, MOTIVATION and quality of sleep play a role in becoming lucid.

Np Perple your always welcome in. And mirror instead of trying to WILD before bed and going into SP i went to bed at midnight. I entered into the boot camp dream about an hour before i woke up at four. That's just a guess though because i went through multiple days in the dream. After I woke up I only stayed up for about three minutes then went back to sleep. I skiped SP and entered the dream quickly. I woke up around 9 without SP. It took me a couple minutes to remember the dream. At first i didn't think i had any dreams. After sitting awake it all came rushing back. If you look at my other days this is how it usually goes. No memory then it hits me.
The last seven days my motivation has been through the roof. My only intention was to Lucid dream. Before I slept I told myself "your going to lucid drem" and it worked. The halo dream was awsome. The elites came at me with energy swords and I kicked their ass with a knife! OORAH! lol

Wow. I see that people progess very fast. Screw my lack of something. I have super duper dream recall, but I can't get into LD. Now screw my weekend break too. ;D I'm going to WBTB+MILD to the max!!!
Yeah, I have school during the week but on weekends WBTB works fine.

This seems like MILD. And it's just Confidence.
It's not MILD at all. There is no set "mantra" there is no WBTB. it's telling your subconcious something that you want.
It has the same idea though. You appeal to your subconcious and focus on your thoughts and inner self. The whole point of MILD is to focus on your task at hand. I.E. Mantras.
Ok this is creepy. Last night I went out to eat with my parents then came home to watch the hockey game. Bout half way through I went and laid down in my room. I remember going back out after that and seeing the score was 4 to 3. Ok no big thing went and layed back down and had two DILD. Thing is today my dad told me the game ended in a score of 2 to 0. Apparently i had a false awakening.
