      Verbal commands and controlling dreams

Hi, im new to lucid dreaming and i was wondering how voice commands work. Do you kinda just yell what you want to happen? For example you want a car, do you yell CAR! or do you have to immagine its there and it will appear. Also, is it possible to completley change a dream? For example: you are at school, but you want to be on a pirate ship fighting pirates, do you just think about that? or do you have to pre-meditate what you want the night before?

Yes, Yes, and Yes! Lucid Dreaming, just like any other skill takes time and effort to be perfected unless it comes naturally to you. With practice, you'll be able to do anything and go anywhere with just a snap of your finger. Atleast that's what I keep telling myself.

Voice commands work very well for me
I just yell "clarify dream" and that works very good for me at least.
and yeah, you just yell it out
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

If i were you i'd start with controlling little things. From what i've heard a lot of people just wake up due to excitement or due to the fact that they are not skilled enough to control that much and lose lucidity just as quickly as they've gotten it. So maybe start floating a bit and then flying? idk I hope you succeed!
