Exclamation Lucid Dreaming For 2 Years, Stopped for a while, can't find inspiration to re-teach my self RC's

OK, so i've been lucid dreaming for about 2 years i Stopped after i moved, (living with partner now so cant WILD as much) But i used to Lucid Dream So easy, i had 3 dream signs a night and about 2 3 lucid dreams per night, but then they stopped and my dream state tryed to catch me out, everytime i got lucid id wake up (atleast i thought i did) until i i taught myself to Reality Check every time i woke up, after a while i built it in my routine and it worked! like a charm, i had about 4 False awakenings a night, i used to wake up and try my fingers through palm, then look at my hands, and finish it with a nose test, normaly one or two will try catch me so i do 3 of my best RC's and they work, but i keep forgetting to do my RC's lately so im not even remembering my dreams at all, i have just had a baby too, he's 1 next month, i dont know weather its stress, but i thought it would have been so much easier with the fact my son can wake me up for his bottle usualy around 6:30am and then i go back to bed, so i thought to used the WUBTB LD but that doesnt seem to work either o.O can anyone help me?

I have a child that just turned 1 as well, just wanted to sympathize with you. It's so much harder when you have kids. I wish I could help, but I am not much use as I am still trying to get lucid. Can I ask you, when did your lucids stop? Was it when your sleeping patterns went all pear shaped after having your little one?

This worked for me, it doesn't take much time. Do a WBTB. just drink alot of water before you go to bed. When you wake up around 2 or 3, go bathroom get a drink of water. And before you fall asleep just relax yourself and think, " I will lucid dream, I will lucid dream". all your thoughts during the wake up have to be about lucid dreaming. Try that a couple times and see if it works.

i do that every night anyway, i say to myself over and over, i will lucid dream, i will have it, and doesnt work anymore, one of my other hardest problems was when i was lucid dreaming i tended to forget my lucid dream goals o.O so id become lucid and just fly about like a bloody idiot cause i was excited at the time.

yeah i thought it would be harder to start lucid dreaming with children... lol, urm my lucid dreams stopped about a year and a half ago, i havent had a single one since then, its getting more and more harder too, i used to WILD when i first started lucid dreaming and it would allways work (just as i went to bed at night, no WBTB involved) then it got harder and i started having a lot and i mean a LOT of false awakenings and i started doing alot of RC whenever i woke up, today i realised a new RC, instead of a watch i have a ring that says DAD, so i turned it to face me, and check it every 10 minutes 2, that way if im awake the letters wont change, if they do it means im dreaming.

When you tell yourself "I WILL have a lucid dream", the sub conscious see's that as something you currently don't have, so it will give you nothing. say something like "I lucid dream every night"

I try to read this forum and think about what it feels to be awake before i go to bed. If I atleast think about lucid dreaming once a day especially close to bed, that helps. But I'm prob like most people, its tough to get lucid when your getting 6-7 hours of sleep waking up to go work rinse repeat. I usually get my lucid dreaming on the weekend when I can sleep late.

Just an update to all i had 2 Dreams i can remember last night, not very well, they're blury, i set my alarm for 3AM to wake up so i could WBTB i woke up 6 minutes before the alarm went off... (i think my body has a built in alarm clock, when i set a time to wake up i allways wake up before the alarm goes off) anyway, i woke up and remembered slightly the dream i had, i was in some sort of wierd orphanege, then i tryed to WILD, think i was to tired, and my body was iritable, but i fell back asleep and had another dream.... which was a wierd one lol, to wierd to talk about.... but i can remember that one too but only bits, i think i need to work on my dream recall bbefore i start trying to LD again, im going to get a DJ tomorrow when i go shopping so i can start wrighting the dreams down, when i wake up to feed my son i will wright down thedream i remember from that night. then i will also do RC's and will do the same when i wake up at 9AM aswell... hopefully that will work, i told my self several times, i lucid dream alot, and i will lucid dream, neither worked.
