      Getting rid of stress

I dont think I remember many of my dreams because of the stress I am under..Is there anyway to get rid of it before you go to sleep? To remember a dream, I need to do something related in a dream irl to trigger my memory. Anyone have any suggestions or good dream recall methods?

      It's your lucky day!

The best way to recal dreams is with a dream journal.

      It's helped me alot.

Dream Journal's help, but if you cant remember any dreams to begin with, you cant write anything down in your journal!! You just have to make dreaming important to you. Before you go to sleep at night, tell yourself over and over in your head that dreams are important, and that you want to remember them, so on and so forth. Setting clocks to wake you up during REM cycles help too, every 90mins or so after falling asleep, waking up during a dream helps recall dramatically.. And when you wake up, dont do anything or move or think, just try and say to yourself, What was I just dreaming of?? Try n think as hard as you can, let it come to you. A year n a half ago, i didn't remember a single dream in the morning, now not only can i remember plenty all the time, I can lucid pretty well too. just keep at it buddy, and just surfing and posting on this forum might help you remember dreams.

It might not mean much, but I think I sleep better if I have cleaned my room the night before. I also ready my stuff for school the next day, so in the morning I can get up, yawn, clean, eat etc. and go to school without worrying about stuff.

Keeping a journal is a good way to beging to recall your dreams.
As far as stress. You could try several meditaion techniques to help you wind down before sleep.
There is the 61 Point Relaxation Technique wich can help you get your mind of things too.

      Good luck.
