      reality check

Last night was my first night on this site and already I was influenced...I just had to share this with someone. last night i read someplace that one way to confirm that you were dreaming was to write something on your hand as a reality check. I can't remember what it was exactly, something in effect of to see if you were really awake or dreaming.
well, last night I was dreaming about something. (i usually remember everything about my dreams, and can remember usually two to three of them, but I awoke with one of my migraines and can remember only one part) the part was I didn't know if i was dreaming or not so i was tracing words on my hand to check it out. i wrote am i really dreaming and i could write every word perfectly. i was frustrated and screamed this method is really stupid and it does not work!! i would be laughing right now if i didn't have my migraine.
my dreams are usually very vivid, and seem very real. before i found this site i already had two dreams that i knew i was dreaming. hopefully here i can learn to bring more of these on. I can taste, feel especailly pain. sometimes i am not the main character, i will dream "movies" i guess you can say. I call those my observation dreams. haha. well, enough of me, just thought i would pass this story on. is there any other way to do reality checks?

Well yes, you can read things. Either the sentences won't make sense, or rereading a sentence may cause a change in it. There are lots of other reality checks, but I find that if I am able to think about doing a reality check in a dream I already know it's a dream. Kind of doesn't make sense.
