Thread: Multiple LDs?

This may seem like a stupid question but I dont understand how people can have multiple LDs in one night. Do you guys count every new scenario as a new LD or do you have an LD, lose lucidity, and then gain it again for another LD? Thanks =).

There are several factors that can play in multiple LD's for instance when you awaken from a LD you may still have lingering REM periods that would allow you to re-enter your Lucid state within 5 minutes upon waking from you previous lucid dream. Repetition can also cause Multiple LD's. A scenerio that caused your conscious to awake in a dream previously can happen back to back within two REM cycles. A great Memory and excellent dream recall can give you mastery in obtaining multiple LD's.
